Originally from Salem, Massachusetts, Autumn was drawn to the Illinois Valley by her love of nature, mountains, and the strong sense of community found among its forests and wild rivers. Since making the valley her home, she has developed a deep appreciation for the people who make this community such a special place to live, work, and build a future.

With a professional background in business and economic development, Autumn is passionate about helping cultivate a strong and sustainable local economy. She believes the vitality of the Illinois Valley comes from the people who choose to invest their time, talent, and dreams here—from the mom-and-pop shop and ambitious startup to the local artisan, skilled tradesperson, and longtime business owner. These individuals embody the “neighbors helping neighbors” spirit that makes the valley unique, and she is invested in creating an environment where they can continue to succeed.

For Autumn, economic development is about more than the numbers. It is about creating meaningful opportunities for people to build livelihoods close to home, supporting the businesses that give our communities their character, and ensuring that the future of the Illinois Valley reflects the people who call it home.

As a member of the Illinois Valley Chamber of Commerce, Autumn is honored to contribute to the continued growth and vitality of the region. She looks forward to building connections, championing local businesses, and working alongside fellow community members to help create a future where the Illinois Valley’s entrepreneurial spirit, independent businesses, and strong sense of community can flourish.
